Renata is a registered psychologist with over 8 years experience working in clinical and forensic settings. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Forensic Psychologists.

Renata’s previous work experience in both the public and private sectors has broadened her ability to manage a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, substance abuse and stress. Through her private practice she has been affiliated with an Employee Assistance Program where she has provided counselling and support to clients dealing with occupational stress and adjustment issues.

Renata has a keen interest in the field of trauma, having worked for organisations such as NSW Police and Corrective Services. She has extensive experience in trauma assessment and intervention as well as a comprehensive understanding of psychological issues effecting emergency response workers. Her specialisation in forensic psychology has equipped her with the expertise to conduct forensic assessments and report writing for a number of professional bodies including the Courts and insurance companies.

Renata has received extensive tuition in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She tailors treatment on an individual basis by integrating CBT with other treatment modalities.
