Jeff’s interest in massage therapy was a natural progression from his experience as a Registered Nurse.  He has worked as a nurse in Accident and Emergency dealing with sports injuries and as a Sexual and Reproductive Health Nurse.

His experience as a Registered Nurse, Remedial Massage Therapist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) gives him the advantage of using both Western and Eastern Medicine to improve your health and injury outcomes.
Massage therapy has enabled him to use bodywork techniques to facilitate the health and wellbeing of his clients by focussing on the body, mind and spirit.  The Massage styles include, Swedish, Remedial, Sports (deep tissue), Shiatsu (acupressure), and Reflexology.

Traditional Chinese Medicine involves a detailed medical history, assessment of Chinese pulses and tongue diagnosis. The aim is to detect and re-energize, rebalance and release Qi (energy), which travels through the body and can become depleted, imbalanced and stagnant. The manual techniques include, acupressure, massage, Gua Sha (scraping of skin), and Cupping (vacuum cups to skin).
The therapies offered by Jeff will complement the treatments received by your Psychologist and Medical Practitioner. The emotions and spirit are always addressed both within massage and especially within the holistic healing of TCM.
