imageIrene has been working in the mental health field in Australia and overseas for over 15 years including: Adult group and individual therapy for anxiety and depression at the Sydney Clinic; programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders through the Behaviour Intervention Centre for Children at the National University of Singapore; private practice in the Eastern Suburbs working to support General Practitioners and Psychiatrists in treating adults and children with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues; and seven years at Rivendell, a family, child and adolescent mental health facility as a Case Manager of children and adolescents with emotional and behaviour disorders.

Irene’s therapeutic model focuses on effective strategies that relieve emotional discomfort, alleviate concerns and improve coping skills. She uses a cognitive behaviour therapy model to help patients deal with anxiety, depression, grief, loss and anger.
