Evelise holds an Honours Degree in Psychology and is a registered Psychotherapist. She is an Associated Member of the Australian Psychological Society and participates in reflective individual and peer clinical supervision. Evelise has experience with children, teenagers and adults using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychoanalytical approaches.
Evelise’s experience in private practice includes psychological treatment for a number of issues such as: family and marital problems, domestic violence, alcohol dependency, depression, pregnancy issues, and anxiety disorders.
Evelise has a special interest in family relationships. She works with families and couples to nurture change and development using the principle that individuals cannot be understood in isolation from one another. Family is an emotional unit, with long-term and important roles in an individual life.
